Just practical
When the current B pitch was moved to the main facility on Mastenweg in 1984, the clubhouse was also inaugurated. This has now been expanded with an extension and two changing rooms. Two years ago, weather protection was added in front of the building, which offers visitors and athletes protection during the “third half”. Source: David Borghoff
When two games take place in a row, things can get a little tighter in the two changing rooms at BSV Belsen. But so far it has still somehow worked. The hosts' cabin is also equipped with motivating banners. After the competitions, the jerseys, which were previously washed in the club's own washing machines, are dried there.
The shower room has enough space with seven showers.
You can train well here
The two football pitches in Belsen are looked after and cared for. In the summer months, a number of members take care of watering the lawn by constantly changing the sprinklers.
The floodlight system is getting old and should be replaced with LED lights as soon as possible.
Small but nice: During the games, the spectators on the A pitch are informed about the score using an electronic scoreboard.

The BSV Belsen sports field is located at Mastenweg 26, separated from the Niedersachsen barracks only by Winsener Straße (L298). You can only get to the club premises by car from the back: From Winsener Straße, turn into Celler Weg and at the end turn right into Mastenweg. A narrow access road leads right to the clubhouse, where there is parking.
A small, fine club room
The BSV Belsen club room is not necessarily large, but it is functional. A small counter as well as smaller and larger tables adorn the room where the club athletes can meet after their “work” is done and have an after-work drink. Club meetings and celebrations are also held in the room. In addition, the DC Bergen, the dart club affiliated with the BSV, uses the premises to practice dart sports on four dartboards mounted on a wall.
Ideas put into action with a twist
A look at the covered terrace of the Belsen sports center makes it clear: this is without a doubt about football. Footballs converted into lampshades hang from the ceiling.
Ideas put into action with a twist
Football paraphernalia can be seen everywhere. And on the largest table, which is surrounded by self-made seating, a football field is drawn.
